Game Froze after rejecting Mark

I went on my 10 heart date with Mark in the kayaks at noon, he told me he liked me and I rejected him and told him I don't feel the same. He said "That's alright." The cut scene ended immediately, and I was transported back to the fast travel point I came from before the cut scene triggered. After I ran into Leah, I asked her to hang out, she said sure, the hang-out cut scene never triggered and after that I could only walk around, I couldn't interact with anything in the world, or speak to anyone either. I couldn't get back to my bed so I passed out. My game completely froze after that, I had to CTR/ALT/DEL. I reloaded the game and was immediately thrown into a hang out cut scene with Leah. After the hang out was over, I was back at my house and am so far, able to play normally.

it actually happened twice, the game acting weird after i rejected mark. the first time it happend, I went to see an event i had with alice at the coral inn, the game went black and i couldn't do anything. so i alt-f4'd and reloaded the day, did the date with mark again, rejected him, and then the 2nd freeze happened. after i rejected mark, i saw leah by the beach fast travel, I asked her to hang out immediately after the mark incident.

it feels like the game kinda freaks out after you reject mark. he's DDOS'ing me lol

this is my 4th play thru, and I usually romance a different Townie each time. I always wanted to romance mark, but he's always so cold towards me. and then i talked to Wateruu and he was all like "yo you like my son?" and i was like...."you know what? Maybeeeeeeeeeeee." lol

my first love was Theo, then Rafael, then MerMan.

its indeed thru steam. and i have never rejected anybody before, mark was the first
