bugged out UI during savannah gacha

Repro steps:

handed in items to the west savannah tree and received rewards
opened inventory and clicked on an item just as the reward text/animation popped up (for Jamu)
can't set down clicked-on item OR progress the reward text, unable to close anything. Had to restart game

Unable to find save file, sorry!

Yeah, exactly. Once the inventory was open and the next message popped up, there was no way to close anything
