#Joining Player gets stuck after loading in

After booting up the save file my friend clicked on steam to join my game. After she has loaded in she was unable to move. We have entered the save file like 3 times over all. The second and third time my friend got stuck and couldnt move. In the game she was not visible to me and i wasnt visible to her. The first time we encountered this bug my friend restarted her game and i restarted the lobby. I'm pretty sure i moved the window furniture to another place before she loaded in. i'm not sure if that changed anything, but that time she joined the game she could move normally. The second time this happened she restarted her game a bunch, i restarted the lobby and moved the window after she loaded in but it didnt work. This happens right as the day starts in game. It was just me and her and we're both on pc playing from steam
We have tried different things. Before she loaded in i moved the window and bed. I had her wait a bit after i loaded in to join. I invited her through the game itself and still nothing worked
I have found 3 files labeled daily save and i dont know which one im supposed to attach so i will attach all 3

Have you and your friend had a chance to verify your game files on Steam? If not, could you give it a try and let us know if it helps resolve the issue?

we restarted the lobby cause there was an inventory bug where my friend couldnt exit the inventory or anything

and she is once again stuck beside the bed and idk if verifying the files everytime we try to play is a good solution :\

Could you let us know what your friend was doing before the inventory bug happened? And also, is she playing on a controller or keyboard and mouse?

keyboard and mouse. i think we opened the chest at the same time and some potato seeds disappeared when she tried picking them up. Later she picked up some more potato seeds from the museum and they disappeared too. she went to the farm and she had 3 dandelions in her inventory and she wanted to put them into the chest that also had 3 of them. When she clicked on them to put them in there was a notice that the chest was full, even though it wasnt. Then she opened inventory and hovered on the dandelions with a sword and they disappeared. Then she hovered the sword to put it in another slot and then potato seeds appeared in that exact slot. afterwards she couldnt exit the inventory menu and the sword was stuck on her cursor

we have no videos or screenshots. i have around 50 hours in the game but it was all in singleplayer and i never encountered this before. my friend just recently bought the game so the few sessions were the only multiplayer experience we had and this was the first time it happened on the save

oh right she asked me to restart the game cause she couldnt exit inventory and when we restarted the lobby she couldnt move after joining

i forgot about that but it might be the reason she couldnt move afterwards.

she also experiences some ping spikes cuz of her internet. could that be the issue?

the ping spikes occured a lot, she saw me running into trees a lot XD
i dont think we were paying attention to the ping indicator so i couldnt tell you

im gonna be really honest with you, i dont think my friend will continue trying to play XD, but thank you for your time! its just been really frustrating trying to fix it and i think we've had enough of trying to make multiplayer work. i really appreciate your response to the reports <3

From what you described earlier, it does sound like it might be related to connection stability, especially if the ping was spiking during your sessions. That can sometimes make multiplayer behave a bit unpredictably.

Totally understandable if you both want to take a break from it for now. If you ever feel like giving multiplayer another try in the future, you could try playing on a different connection and see if that helps!
