tree planting festival can't till the ground

So I encountered a bug with the tree planting festival where if I buy anything at the store, the second phase of the event, which is to till the ground after clearing the debris becomes impossible to complete as the hoe does nothing when I use it. However I have zero issues if I don't buy anything from the store and can complete the festival.

I'm on PC and I got the game on Steam

To retrieve the files, you can copy-paste the following file path into your Windows Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames then compress the SaveGames folder into a ZIP file before sending it here
