Could you tell us if the host used global resume? Did the issue still persist, or was everything normal again?

Yes after using global resume the second player was stuck at the attached screenshot and could not exit
I tried re activating global pause and resuming a second time after and second player was still stuck, only way out was to either close player 2's game or quit to menu on the host end
