Is there a better way then clearing trash and hoping you get the water nodes to drop or is just all rng cause I'm having terrible luck.

If it's specifically the water nodes you need, that's your best option. Is your scythe enchanted?

Is the problem not finding fossils in general or that you have like 1 or 2 left you need and they just will not show up? Because if it's the latter: remember you can save scum if you're cool doing that.

Water fossils are quite easy to farm.
- Enchant your pickaxe to max with extra drop, rare drop and either hit drop or swift swing. Make sure it's purple or gold
- Go to any underwater cave, you can choose based on if you need specific coffers also.
- And just clear trash.
Otherwise you can hoe the beach or try and get them at the dig site or from cave of memories.

Oh wow...had no idea you can collect so many fossil nodes from the beach....just tried and had tons coming out, well at least for me there was a lot
Too bad as for fossils none came up that I needed XD

oof...the RNG might just hate you. You're positive it's the water fossils you need?
