I have encountered a glitch with buying the clothing on Playstation 5. I've bought all items but the red striped shirt won't appear in the journal thus I cant get the fashion guru trophy, is this a known bug and is this being worked on?

Just to double check, did you buy it in the shop or through the sturdy computer?

I've bought it at the shop multiple times and on the sturdy computer multiple times. I tried restarting. Not sure what else to try

So, generally the stuff I'm finding is non-specific (nothing on the red striped shirt)
But, some potential points:
- It may be a false flag. If you bought different clothing items in a previous version of the game, it may not trigger (so if you were playing in 1.1 and since updated to 1.2)
- Again, if you bought different clothing items online instead of via White Flamingo, Tidal Threads, etc.
- Sometimes you may need to buy the clothing item you started the game in, as well.
Completion achievements like these unfortunately seem to be a bit buggy, so, while I don't know if your specific issue is actively being investigated, if you make a bug report, you may want to do those double checks just in case to save the devs some extra time
If it's a singleplayer game, go to #1222876094190059542, if it's in multiplayer go to #1405412988751446140 and follow the template at the top of the forum

Interesting. I definitely bought all items from computer and got the achievement, but I still have one uknown top. (I'm steam).
If you buy it again and it does not trigger I would report a bug.

The bug reports I was referencing were primarily XBOX/pre-1.2b, so I genuinely don't know. It's hard to know without having the conditions in front of you, and even then
