carpenter causing crashing

Title: Crashing in MP when trying to buy a shed for example and placing it.
Reproduction Steps: Trying to place a horse stable or any other type of construction and it crashes. When my friend in my MP does it though, it doesn't crash. only when I try and place the shed it will crash.
Repro Rate: Every time I try and place a building from the carpenter.
In-Game Date & Time: Around the 5th of Fall around 13:00. Year 2.
Players & Platform: 2 players. Me and a friend both on Steam.
Game Version: You can find this below the Exit button on the title screen or at the bottom right of your screen.
Input Mode: Keyboard & Mouse
PC Specs: rtx4070 ti and i7 13700k 32gb ram 6000MT/s.

Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000000000.
Really annoying crash that happens whenever i try to place a construction from carpenter on our farm. It crashes right when i try to move it around to place it in the right place.

I am the host. it crashes right when i go into the placement screen but i was attempting to move it to the top right of the farm.

Just to double check — when you tried placing the stable, was your pet outside your farmhouse at that time?

yes it was.

i also crashed today while moving structures with the giant bench that allows you to

it crashed after i stopped the moving and discarded the changes i made
