Unfortunately for now, the only temporary workaround is to keep playing for a few days until the trash respawns. Then you should be able to clean the ocean and find the orb in the trash again, the stuck orb should respawn in a different spot Pig_Sad_Emoji

For what it's worth, the orb location seems to reset basically nightly from what I've seen (on pc)
