📝 Crash Report Template

Hello,
I am writing to report a recurring and critical issue affecting the co-op gameplay experience. While the co-op feature is a strong addition to the game, it currently contains a major stability problem that significantly impacts usability. The primary issue occurs at the end of gameplay sessions when the sleep feature is triggered and the game transitions into save mode.
During online co-op play, the game consistently crashes at this point. The crashes occur frequently during nighttime sleep cycles and occur 100% of the time when both players attempt to sleep simultaneously. For reference, my sessions are hosted on an Xbox Series S, with the second player joining via PC using Steam. This crash results in lost progress and wasted time after extended gameplay sessions involving resource gathering, farming, or exploration.
The issue has reached a point where it is causing significant frustration for my household and appears to be affecting other players as well. We genuinely enjoy the game and want to continue playing, but this problem is seriously impacting the overall experience and reliability of co-op mode.
Please advise if there are any known workarounds, troubleshooting steps, or upcoming patches addressing this issue. Otherwise, I strongly encourage prioritizing a fix, as this bug undermines player progression and cooperative gameplay.

- Reproduction Steps: Describe what you were doing in the game leading up to the crash.
Always happens during a save. When both parties go to sleep.
- Repro Rate: How often does the issue occur? (e.g. every time, occasionally, only once)
Happens about 30-40% of the time.
- In-Game Date & Time: When did the crash happen in-game?
Happens as soon as both players sleep. Then games says “Lost connection” and backs you into the main lobby.
- Players & Platform: How many players joined? Tag them and note who was Host, P2, P3, and P4, plus what platform each was on (e.g. Steam, Xbox Series X/S, PS5).
Host was Xbox Series S, player 2 was PC handheld Steam. Only 2 players total.
- Game Version: You can find this below the Exit button on the title screen or at the bottom right of your screen.
This just happened 02/05/2026. So which ever game version that is. Yes its updated. We play online.
- Input Mode: Keyboard & Mouse or Controller? (Steam Deck = Controller)
Controller for Xbox Series S. And also controller for PC. (XBOX ROG ALLY X).
- PC Specs: If you’re on PC, please check your system using this guide.
PC Specs are XBOX ROG ALLY X. Its a handheld. 24GB RAM. Its powerful enough that im getting about 45-60 Frames on higher settings.
