#Stairs in the mermaid kingdom don't let me get up?

So this is the stairs that lead down to the tattoo shop and General Store. I remember this happening twice so far, both times I had to wait until I passed out, since I had gotten pretty far in my day, but that just makes the area... Inaccessible. Cause I can't get back onto the "main road" 😭

More info:
I simply just walked (swam?) down the stairs, can't get back up, Happened before.
Happened at LEAST twice before, across different safe files.
I play on Steam, PC
I'm on version v1.2b-1245
Input mode is keyboard and mouse
Save file, well, it happened across 3 different once so far so I don't think it's my savefile lol

Woke up, fed my farm animals on the surface, then teleported down to the merfolk kingdom teleporter and went down there
Admittedly I got lost and wanted to go to Cho Oyu but took a wrong turn hehe... Aaaand couldn't get back up :(

Very rarely does it let me get back up, there's one specific tiny spot that lets me get back up sometimes where the floor is the sandy texture on the left side of it, but I have to wiggle my character around with A and D while swimming forward to get it right, but yeah it happens quite a lot

My FPS are indeed set to No Limit, I set them down to 60FPS and it indeed fixed it lol o.O

Well, I'll keep them capped onto 60 for now so I no longer get forced to sleep in the general store :D Thank you for letting me know!

Ooh anytime! Glad to hear switching to 60 FPS fixed it approve2

But now we’re the ones who are confused Scott_Crying_Emoji because we tried the same setup on our end and couldn’t get it to happen. Hmmm, maybe there’s another factor triggering it 🤔
