Where is the best place to get fossil nodes?

Fossil nodes can be found by mining, clearing trash underwater or hoeing dirt around the island.
Best advise - enchant your pickaxe/scythe (rare drop, hit drop, extra drop). Go to the mines to level 30 and down breaking every rock or to the cave underwater and clear trash.
Or go the COM, preferably levels 51-75 and break stones and red stones.
Also mine the rocks in the dig site.
