heyas! the developers are gonna need a bit more information! Please follow the pinned post on crash reporting guidelines or check here! #1179982157825974374 message It has a template! Every bit of the information helps the developers out in fixing the issue! Please note that the use of mods or any type of file alteration will result in the developers not being able to assist you!
I deinstalled all the mods before making a report. Verified the files - and still this crash is 100% reproducible.
Title Crash on using hoe at the specific tile at seashore
Reproduction Steps go to the seashore at the screenshot, use a hooe multiple times on a few tile saround that spot - the game will crash
Repro Rate 100% - absolutely reliably reproducible on new saves and old saves
Game Platform (Steam, PC)
Game Version (1.2b-1245)
Input Mode (Keyboard and mouse)
PC and GPU specs details (AMD Ryzen 5900X / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER)
Crash log (Please copy paste the Unreal crash log content here before you 'Send and Close')
Your save file

sadly mods are a "use at your own risk" even after removing mods they have already altered your file and can still affect things
i validated the files after that
sadly validating does nothing about the files that have already been touched by mods. removing/uninstalling also does not remove the "residue" that mods have left behind
just make sure to only submit the save that the mods have not touched in any way, shape or form
even a mod launcher can still touch a save file even though you havent "activated" the mods
i can see saves being somehow touched by mods... but validated game files cannot be touched by that....'residue'
i will do a new save now, but mods having changed game files and having the same hash is something from phantasy genre...
it removes mod files that have replaced regular files but not mods files that have been added. those are ignored
all my mods were paks - they never added anything else. Fully new save is absolutly reproducing this problem

checking it takes like 60 seconds.... but you still say that mods are some kind of filth of the world......
give me some time to check how to do that video - never done that before
not that they are filth but if the mods used were files added and not files that replaced things then vailidating wont actually do anything
just make sure to uninstall mods and mod launchers as again even the launchers can affect files
and i said i deleted all the mods and their traces - as i remember which files were there. And i nver replaced any file while installing mods - i did that manually.
i didn't even know there was a mod launcher for Coral Island O_O
depending on where you get you mods from they can use mod lauchers. example is wemod
wemod is wand now:)
i used Nexus
they are all just pak files which go into pak folder
so video is 200mg.... how do i upload it? i doubt discord will accept that file size
maybe see about putting it up on youtube and adding a link?
from my country..... not an easy solution:) i will try to upload it to some file hosting

this is a cppy of the video folder - i can't find how to export a video - the tutorial from crash report is not really working now... i guess steam chamged the interface a little
the recomendation of doin a background recording is outdated - steam says that sharing of that is not supported anymore

i think its only this 1 tile which is bugged.
Does this look vanilla enough to see if it really is a real problem? I am sorry if i sound cranky - but it is quite late, i lost a lot of time today setting the game up and loosing the day 2 times in a row. Right now i am pretty inclined to just deinstall the game and forget about it for a year or two .... though i really wanted to play it now:( And not even being able to show a problem because of the mod 'stigma' is also pretty infuriating - as checking it in vanilla really takes no time at all....

Found another spot - again it shouldn't be hoeable but it causes to crash. So it's not 1 tile
i guess i should stop using hoe to look for insects and so on anymore...... pretty game-breaking

If you happen to play again, could you let us know which spots this happened in? A screenshot with the tile marked would be super helpful.

this spot was the first - might trigger only on second use of hoe
after screenshot i immediately triggered crash just to make sure this is the right spot:)
again - two times use hoe on this spot
and again - immediately triggered ctd after taking screenshot just to make sure
so i replicated ctd on the upper spot 10+ times (while learning how to add a video and so on) and 3 times on the lower spot:)

I stopped playing for now, as i love to use upgraded hoe on roads to get more bugs and loot, i am now afraid to find those spots by the end of a day.... I am looking up for the moment this thing is fixed
PS Also that treebranch on the second spot should fade out i think:)
