#Occasional crashes in the evenings

We've been playing Coral Island for few weeks now (summer, year 2 at the moment) and occasionally (once every 5-10 sessions) the game session crashes and we both (host and guest) are thrown to the multiplayer lobby (join/create session) with the message "session was disconnected" or something similar. I think it always happens in the evening. 2-3 times it happened when we went to sleep (instead of getting the day summary we got disconnect error). Other times we were doing just the usual stuff (gathering forages, catching bugs, fishing etc.).

Reproduction Steps: Play the game
Repro Rate: once every 5-10 sessions
In-Game Date & Time: evening
Game Platform: Steam (both host and guest)
Game Version: 1.2b-1245
Input Mode: Keyboard and mouse
PC Specs:

  • host: Lenovo Legion Slim 5 16AHP9 (Ryzen 7 8845HS, 64 GB RAM, RTX4060 with up-to-date drivers from NVIDIA APP, up-to-date Windows 11 Home)
  • guest: Lenovo Legion 5 17ACH6H (Ryzen 7 5800H, 32 GB RAM, RTX3060 with up-to-date drivers from NVIDIA APP, up-to-date Windows 11 Pro)

Hello @silver python. Thanks for sharing the details, and I'm sorry for the issues that you've encountered during the multiplayer gameplay. 🙏

When the disconnect happens, do you see an Unreal Engine crash pop-up, or is it only the in-game message saying “session was disconnected” that sends you back to the multiplayer lobby?

If the issue happens again while you’re playing, it would be really helpful if you could share a screenshot of the prompt/message you see at the moment of the disconnect.

Thanks a lot for your help.

@compact geode I think once or twice there was the Unreal "send report" window but I think that time the whole game grashed, not just the session. Most of the time the session crashes, not the game as a whole. When next crash happens, do you want me to attach any file (crash reports)?
