#Decor Mode Freezes my game and Fruit trees not growing properly in greenhouse.

The bug happens when I'm either moving around furniture in my home, replacing wallapers or pressing esc while holding furniture.
Sometime it happens after placing 2-3 furniture items at sometimes it happens after placing a bunch of furniture in my house.

The second bug is I place fruit trees inside my greenhouse to cultivate thme but they don't seem to be growing no matter how many times I go back to check (they seem to be regressing too) I tried replanting or remiving them for another batch the problem still persists.

For the freeze issue, could you help us confirm a few things:

  • About how many real-life hours had you been playing before the freeze happened?
  • Does this seem to happen with any furniture, or mainly with the sofa shown in the video?
  • Could you share your PC specs (CPU, GPU, RAM)?

For the fruit tree issue:

  • Do you remember the in-game date when you first planted them?
  • Have you moved or repositioned the trees at any point since planting?

Freeze

  • About 300+ real life hours
  • any furniture/wallpaper/flooring aslong as I am on decor mode for the house
  • Cpu: 12Gen Intel(R) Core (TM) i7-12700H Mhz
    -GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 4060 Laptop GPU
  • RAM: 32 gb

Fruit Trees

  • Spring 5/6 3rd/4th year
  • I have re-planted the trees, the original trees were planted months before in game (i forgot when exactly since I took a break from the game at that time)

Just a few quick things to confirm:

Freeze issue

  • When you mentioned 300+ real-life hours, is that your total playtime?
  • Or, does the freeze usually happen after 1–2 hours, or after 2/3 in game days in the same session?
  • If you happen to play again, could you also share a screenshot or short video of your in-game display/graphics settings?

Fruit trees
From the video, it looks like the fruit tree seedlings weren’t watered. Fruit tree seedlings do need daily watering (unlike saplings). 🍋

  • Could you try watering them and see if the growth days start counting properly?

also the vid I showed happened around 20-30 minutes of decorating when it froze while I was holding the sofa

I tried watering the trees and the days decreased!

For the freeze issue in Decor Mode, could you try this when you have a moment?

  • Switch the display mode to Fullscreen
  • Lower the graphics preset (for example, to High or Medium)

Then try opening Decor Mode again and see if the freeze still happens. Thank you so much for your help! 🙌

I tried what you've suggested, but it still crashed

  • it stopped the flickering item menu

but ultimately still froze while decorating

I switched to full screen and turned my graphics to high

I switched to borderless window with my settings set to high and the problem seems to be solved, granted I've done my decoration in short segments
