Unable to play Multiplayer (PlayStation)

Every time my friend joins my multiplayer game, he immediately falls through the floor and cannot move or play properly. This happens every time he joins, regardless of the in-game day or location.

Platform: PlayStation (I am the host)

@tall barn I can’t recall exactly when it first happened, but I do remember my friend suddenly had a high ping and wanted to leave and rejoin the game, and that’s when this issue started occurring.

Really appreciate you taking the time to share all the details. We’ve sent everything over to the dev team and they’re currently checking what might be causing this.

For now, the only workaround for the falling loop is using a Warp Sesajen to fast travel and free your character.

If it’s not unlocked yet, another player who has completed the Rare Altar at the Lake Temple can help unlock it.

And how the player who stuck will craft wrap Sesajen?

You can ask your friend to open their crafting menu and craft the Warp Sesajen.
After that, your friend can use it to fast travel, which should help unstuck your friend’s character.

Hey there! I’m also part of the team and just wanted to clarify that, to unlock the crafting recipe for Warp Sesajen, you’ll need to complete all categories in the Rare Altar. For reference, we’ve attached a screenshot of the altar we’re referring to so you can easily spot it in-game ⏫

I have the same problem we just started playing roughly 20 hours in game

it will hard for us to unlock everything in the rare alter to craft a single item to help us unstuck?

this is so sad we missing on townies birthdays and lots of progress to do together

i think adding an “unstuck” button would fix this since i saw lots of people with the same issue

Yup yup! This is still something the team is actively investigating. For now, since we haven’t pinpointed the cause yet, unlocking Warp Sesajen and completing the Rare Altar seems to work as a temporary fix for players who run into this issue. We’ll definitely let you know once we hear any updates from the team! So sorry for this 🙇‍♀️

Hello! I’m really sorry you’re running into this and I totally understand how frustrating it is
Unfortunately at the moment, the only temporary workaround we have is unlocking Warp Sesajen.

If you happen to remember, could you share what both you and your friend were doing right before this happened?
Even small details (where you were, what actions you took, menus you opened, etc.) can really help us narrow down the cause.

It was in the mines went down then got kicked out/disconnected after ping spiked, then everytime i try to reconnect im just falling out of the map even if i spent all energy or just waited out the day

• Were you playing as the host or the guest when this happened?
• Before this issue started, had you ever experienced a disconnect after a ping spike, and things went back to normal afterward?
