Title : Bug Decoration, when decorating in multiplayer mode
Reproduction Steps : I live in the same house as my partner, in House 1. We decorate at the same time together, and this error always appears. It happens whether I'm on the farm, standing next to her, or in another part of the world
Repro Rate :Every time either of us enters decoration mode, whether it's her or me, the error always happens
Game Platform : Steam, PC
Game Version : v1.2b-1245
Input Mode :Keyboard and mouse.

By any chance, are you the host? Also, could you share the crash log here? You can follow this %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\Crashes

If you get a chance to play again and can replicate the issue, could you please share a short video from both host POV and the guest player’s POV showing how it happens? That would really help the team reproduce the crash more accurately.

@hallow pike, you mentioned that you were decorating at the same time, but also that the crash happens when you’re on the farm (standing next to her) or even in a different part of the world.

Just to confirm: does the crash happen as soon as your partner clicks Finish after decorating? Or does it only crash when you join and click Decorate as well? 😮

We noticed we’ve received similar crash reports related to Decor Mode.

Could you help us with a bit more detail about what you were doing while in Decor Mode?

• Were you moving furniture, rotating items, or placing new furniture?
• Does this occur for host only, guest only, or both when using Decor Mode?

This info will really help us narrow down what’s causing the crash.

Hi thanks for your help ! For my part, it was mostly when I enter in Decor Mode, I select an object to move it around, then before I can place it in the house, the game crashes.

And it occurs mostly for me as the host

Also, you mentioned the crash usually happens while you’re moving an object in Decor Mode - could you let us know which item you were holding at the time when the crash occurred?
Also, does it seem to happen with the same item each time, or have you seen it occur with different items as well? 😮

I would say different objects. Because the first time it was a sofa and recently it was a carpet. 😬

Also, do you recall if it tends to happen in a fresh session (right after loading and opening the co-op save), or after playing for a while / several in-game days?

Idk how many times but I would say around ten times. And a little bit of both but mostly after opening the co-op. And no worries it’s a pleasure to help you figure it out.
