Hello! So, online research states that house storage is set to 999. However, my husband’s house storage only shows as a max of 99. Is this a bug? Is there a way to increase it? His house is upgraded high enough to have the kid rooms.

It's only 99 right now. The notice of 999 in the dev blog is stuff they were working on for upcoming updates.
