Bumping this up!
Hello @deft hound, thank you for the report!
We’ve actually received a similar report before (you can find it here: https://discord.com/channels/623097219628662784/1447450480241283203). We’ve already shared it with the team, but unfortunately we haven’t been able to reproduce the issue on our end yet
Could you let us know if you were repeatedly or spam-pressing any buttons on your controller before getting stuck? 😮
Hello! Mainly the joystick to navigate and the sprint button
I followed the steps that were mentioned https://discord.com/channels/623097219628662784/1447450480241283203 and adjusted the frame rate, which resolved the issue.
However the path will be block again when the frame rate was being adjusted back to it’s default setting
I’ll send another recording of it once I have access to my computer.
Could you clarify what you mean by adjusting the frame rate? Can you tell me the current and previous ones? 😮
Also, I’ve forwarded your report about getting stuck on the stairs near the school, and the team is already working on a fix!
Sure let me send a recording to show
here's the video
As you can see when my FPS was no limit, my character will get stuck in steps.
However as i adjust FPS lower to 60, my character able to move pass the steps
Whattttt 🤯 This is mind-blowing! TYSM for sharing the video!
This will def helps the teams replicating it!
Oh, one more thing: does this issue happen right away if you wake up and go straight to the stairs? We’d like to know if your actions earlier in the day might also be contributing to getting stuck 😮
yep right away
Oh additional info if it helps
I went to load my older saves ( last played was 2024 🤣 ) I can get pass the steps the for the first few second and it get stuck again
here's the recording
Let me know if you want the save file of this as well
Ahh, is this a different save file from the one you shared earlier? 😮
yep this was my super old save that i last played in 2024
just loaded it just now to check if it also have the same stuck issue
Okay! I’ll take a quick look at the save file you sent earlier 👌
Okay, so we tried to recreate your steps, but the issue didn’t happen on our end
we also changed the FPS to No Limit, and everything still worked fine.
Could you take a look and let us know if we might be missing a step or two? @deft hound 😮
Hmmm 😔 if you don’t mind, could you try recording a video showing how you press the buttons? It might help us see if there’s anything we’re missing. That would be super helpful! 🙏
Yeah, recording it with your phone while you go up and down the stairs using the controller would be perfect. I know it’s a bit extra to ask 😅 but it would really help the team a lot! 🙏
Okie dokie, please take your time!
here you go
my another hand was holding the phone to recoord so using one hand to navigate the controller. Hope it helps 🙏🏻
Thank you so much for your help! I’ll share both this and the latest video you sent with the team, and hopefully we’ll be able to replicate the issue 😊 🎉
Oh, one more thing: could you also share screenshots of your full in-game display and controller settings? We’ll try to match your settings when testing this on our side
here's the screenshot! i didnt adjust anything for the controller
Sticking to the default layout
Thank you so much! Will def forward this to the teams
Thanks a lot for all your help ❤️
Heyaa @deft hound, sorry for the ping again! We just need a bit more info since we haven’t been able to replicate this on our end yet sadly
If you don’t mind, could you share your device specs with us? (CPU, GPU, RAM, HDD/SSD, etc.)
You can check how to find them here: https://techguided.com/how-to-check-your-computer-specs/
We want to see if this might be related! Thank you
Hello! Somehow recently suddenly the stucking in steps was randomly fixed by itself
But I start to have semi blocking when I wanna get up the stairs from mid forest to deep forest
Let me know if you still need my computer spec
Thanks for getting back to us, and glad to hear it fixed itself!
Quick check: another player mentioned that changing the FPS setting from No Limit to 60 solved the issue.
Would you mind checking what your FPS limit is in the in-game settings? We just wanna make sure! 😮
And yep yep, if you’re able to share your device specs too, that’d be super helpful for us to look into this further. Thanks a bunch!
