My museum collection says that I only need 2 more to completely finish it, but my caught/found menu doesn't properly show me what I need. For example, I have a spare tarantula that I cannot donate but is marked as neither donated nor shipped under my caught/found menu. I mostly want to be able to see what I actually need, as I have a few blanks but only 2 remaining to catch. These pictures were taken a day apart, but only because I had filled out 2 other blanks with ones I was certain I didn't have.

Game Version: v1.2b- 1245
Game platform: Steam
Input mode: Keyboard and mouse.
In-game Date & Time: Summer Year 2, Day 4.
Reproduction steps: N/A. Problem appears every time I try to donate the tarantula that I'm "missing" although I suspect that that is not actually one of the 2 insects that I'm missing for the collection. The caught/found hasn't updated for any of the insects that I'm still missing.

To retrieve the files, you can copy-paste the following file path into your Windows Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames then compress the SaveGames folder into a ZIP file before sending it here approve2

Do you remember how you obtained the tarantula before donating it to the museum? Did you catch it manually, or did you get it from a Mystery Rock or another source?

Either the one I donated or the one I shipped was an insect trap catch, not with a net. But I either donated or shipped one from a mystery rock. My spare one is also from a mystery rock

I can try but I'm at the beginning of summer and they don't spawn until fall

I believe it was an issue with me having not caught a tarantula with a net before donating/shipping one because some of the other insects that weren’t marked as caught were finally added to my list, although I had already donated and shipped them, after I caught them with a net. It said the first time catching the bug and also how many I had caught (just the 1x)

So I’d like to say issue resolved, and probably not a bug as well, although there are a few insects I still don’t have on my list. I’m down to 1 insect needed for the museum and can narrow it down to the rove beetle. I think I just assumed insects obtained from mystery rocks would count towards the caught/found category

Do you happen to remember which game version you obtained the tarantula from the Mystery Rock? Was it before version 1.2b-1245?
