Hdr on xbox

Hi, i have CI on both ps5 and XSX, but on this last, hdr isnt working. I tried uninstall/install, desactivate hdr and activate it again and such. Dont know if it is known or an issue on my side, i researched the problem on google and on this discord but found nothing.

What kind of video do you want ? Hdr isnt working everytime. I have no issue with it on ps5, hdr is working fine.
I have a lg g1, i know hdr isnt working because the tv settings are on sdr.
So I can make a video to show you what im telling, but it isnt working at all, so you wont see any difference between hdr or no hdr.

I can, but like i said, you wont see any difference

(Plus, im french, so all my settings will be on french 🥲)

You can see "hdr mode" on ps5, wich mean hdr is working.
Nothing on xsx

(I already tried deactivating auto hdr, dolby etc but nothing work)

It was working before. I cant say wich update broke it, but around september/november, it was working. (After that i didnt have time to play, that is why i cant say when it stopped working)

Hi again! Just want to reconfirm something: you mentioned that HDR isn’t working because your TV is set to SDR. Have you tried manually switching it to HDR (instead of SDR) while using the Xbox Series X? 😮

My tv is set to whatever the device im playing on. Ps5 is hgig so my tv switch to hgig when I play on ps5.
Xbox is set on dolby vision (and autohdr) so my tv switch to dolby vision when i play on xbox.
I play CI on ps5>hgig, what i expect
I play CI on xbox>sdr, not what i expect

On xbox I try enable/disable all option (dolby, hdr10, autohdr), uninstall/reinstall the game, nothing worked

Hi hi @untold ruin, we just heard back from the team! Could you try calibrating HDR for games like in the attached screenshot and let us know if that fixes the HDR issue on your Xbox? 😮

Didnt work (i dont know why it was a solution, calibrate hdr is for Black/white level etc 😅 my problem is that my xbox doesnt recognize CI as an hdr game, so it doesnt send the message to my tv that it is an hdr device, if that makes sense. English isnt my native language 🙈)

Ahhh, really a bummer that it didn’t solve the issue
Could you share a screenshot of what your Xbox shows when you click “Calibrate HDR for games”?

In the video, i forced the hdr on my tv (using a cheat code 😂) so you can see with hdr and without. You'll see in the top right corner "hdr hlg" meaning hdr is working (or hdr if it is hdr10/hgig, or dolby vision etc)

But hdr isnt working normally. You'll see "hdr mode selection" if hdr is working, and just "mode selection" if it isnt.

Yep, it does work in other games. I launch bg3>dolby vision, i launch CI>nothing
