The game crashed and there was a unreal engine popup. This has happened many times already during our coop game. It happens randomly on any day and any season. Is there any fix to this?

Reproduction Steps: Before the crash. We were doing the usual things like farming, ranching, foraging etc. During nighttime I went back inside my house to decorate and that it where the game crashed.
Repro Rate: The game crash during decorating happened twice.
In-Game Date & Time: There was no specific date but it happened at night time.
Players & Platform: 3 players. I was the host, @hallow seal (p2) on pc, 3rd player is not on discord but he was playing on ps5 sometimes on the pc.
Game Version: 1.2b
Input Mode: Mouse and keyboard
PC Specs: i attached a screenshot of my specs

Also could you also share your host's save file with us so the team can take a closer look and try to replicate the issue on our end?

hey there @fast pond so we were trying to record the case of the crash during decorating. but it never happened. I stopped recording and this the crashes have become so unpredictable. it would happen at random times and situations. it would crash when i use the architect desk, or when i would open a chest.

We understand — crashes can be tricky to catch when they happen randomly.

Just to help us narrow this down a bit:
• If the guest isn’t doing anything, and you try using the architect desk or opening a chest again, does it still crash?
• Or does it seem related to what the guest was doing right before the crash happened?

The crash does happen when the guests are doing something. Like for example I was editing the shed this time and player 3 was doing something inside his house. When he wanted to get out, he couldnt and that was the time it crashed on my end as well.

When i was using the architect desk, they were doing something as well.

For the crash log i will send it later since I am on mobile right now.

We noticed we’ve received similar crash reports related to Decor Mode.

Could you help us with a bit more detail about what you were doing while in Decor Mode?

  • Were you moving furniture, rotating items, or placing new furniture?
  • Does this occur for host only, guest only, or both when using Decor Mode?

This info will really help us narrow down what’s causing the crash.

I was doing all of them like moving, rotating and placing and it happened to all of us but not in synch. for example since i am the host if my game crashes everyone gets affected too. but there are times p2 or p3 are decorating or using the architect desk they crash as well on their own or there is an unreal engine popup.

To retrieve the files, you can copy-paste the following file path into your Windows Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames then compress the SaveGames folder into a ZIP file before sending it here, thanks in advancegoatlove2
