Random Crashing Approx. 1 Hour After Multiplayer

Reproduction Steps: Both crashes were different. CRASH ONE: Player 2 was accessing a chest Player 1 had built. CRASH TWO: Player 1 just caught the Assom Silk Moth, and Player 2 was just walking around.
Repro Rate: How often does the issue occur? (e.g. every time, occasionally, only once) This has now happened twice.
In-Game Date & Time: When did the crash happen in-game? Day 4 and Day 5 of Spring 1
Players & Platform: How many players joined? Tag them and note who was Host, P2, P3, and P4, plus what platform each was on (e.g. Steam, Xbox Series X/S, PS5). Two players, both on Steam, both on local network
Game Version: You can find this below the Exit button on the title screen or at the bottom right of your screen. Game version 1.2B updated in December 2025
Input Mode: Keyboard & Mouse or Controller? (Steam Deck = Controller) Mouse and Keyboard
PC Specs: If you’re on PC, please check your system using this guide. Unsure which Specs you need. Will attach photo

Please note: no crash log possible. The game freezes for Host (Player 1) until force exit via either Steam or Task Manager.

Update: updated graphics drivers, but game is still crashing at a rate of once per hour

I will try! It is happening so randomly that I am not sure when it actually occurs. We have tried to replicate it but none of those are the issue.

Right now, I lowered my graphics to Medium as host to see if that will get us past the hurdle.

Thanks! We haven't had a crash yet, so something we figured was that the host (me) cannot alt+tab out of the screen, even in windowed mode. doing so WILL crash the game. :) so it's my error!

That’s really good to know about alt tabbing causing the crash. If you’re able to, could you please try to record a short video of what happens when you press Alt Tab and the game crashes? That would really help the team take a closer look at it.
