Can’t join multiplayer

I can host but cannot join multiplayer games at all. Both of my friends tried to join. I have uninstalled the game and reinstalled, checked network settings we all have the same isp and we have all changed and reset our games and I can’t join my game crashes. We are on V1.2b-1245

Also I noticed you’re playing on Xbox, could you let us know if it’s an Xbox Series X or Series S?

Hi! My friend and I are having the same exact problem. Could not connect whatsoever. Still saying unstable connection. Will there be a patch?

We are both playing on steam one of us on PC and the other on ROG Ally.

Hey! When this issue happened, did you or your friend get any pop-up message? Also, which one of you was the host? 😮

I am the host and she puts the join code in and it says “your connection is too unstable please try again later” we both have pretty fast WiFi. Mine was showing as 404mbps and hers 312mbps. thank you for the help in advance! @coral hemlock

Do you also get the same pop-up message when your friend is the one hosting? And are both of you playing from the same place / IP address? 😮

Yes same message no matter who is hosting. And we are not playing from the same place. We are in different states.

Noted 📝 Have you tried using a different connection, like a mobile hotspot, or connecting with different people to see if the issue still happens?

I am also having this issue on PC. I am trying to play with my friend who is also on PC. we have tried mobile hotspots as well as everything else and it wouldnt work. I was hosting, so when I sent the invite code it just said "session not found"

^^^ also we are in the same household so its not a connection issue, all my other multiplayer games and devices are working fine. we are on steam 🙂

Unfortunately when I tried my hot spot the internet is even slower and I barely could get logged into steam so I don’t think that’s possible for me to try. And I only have this friend to play with😅 so no one else to test it out. We actually bought the game to play together.

Hello!! Have you tried switching the host to your friend? If so, do you still get the “session not found” pop-up? 🙂

Okay, that’s both weird and new at the same time 😮 so you and your friend are both on Xbox Series S, but they can join your game and you can’t join theirs, even though you have the same console platform??? 😮 😮

Also, do you both live in the same city, or different cities?

Different cities but same internet provider and same style console yes.

Could you go to Settings > Network Settings and take a screenshot of your NAT type for us? For both you and your friend. It should look like the attachment 🙂
