When I eat an endurance fruit (I’ve only had two so far, but it happened every time), my overlay disappears and I can’t open my inventory or anything else. The only things I can do are either restart the day from the main menu or wait until I collapse.
Is it just happening to me, or is this a known bug?

I received the endurance fruit as a museum donation reward and ate it. After that, an animation played, and then the entire overlay disappeared. I could only use dodge and nothing else. The only options left were restarting the day or waiting until I passed out.

I got the second endurance fruit from the lake people, and the same issue happened again. So I think the problem is related to the fruit itself, or more specifically to the animation.

How to find your save file?

  • PC:
    Copy and paste this into your Windows Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames. Attach the DailySave_[number].sav file to your report.

  • Steam Deck:
    Your save file is most likely stored in the 'compatdata' directory. The filepath is: /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata.
    From there, you will see many folders with random numbers. The Coral Island folder should have the code number '1158160'.
    Enter that folder, then navigate to the pfx folder, then drive_c folder. Follow this path: Users<username>\AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames to find your save file.

  • Xbox X|S, PlayStation 5, Xbox PC
    No need to include your save file, but any picture/video recording and detailed explanation are very helpful.
