Stuck after eating Stamina Fruit

1. Happened after I got the stamina fruit from the museum, but I was able to work around by eating it right by the bed and then using right click on my mouse. Again happened after getting the fruit from the alters.
   2.Happened twice with the museum fruit once from the alter.

Do you remember what you were doing the entire in-game day, from when you woke up until you got stuck? This will help us try to recreate the same steps and see if we can trigger it on our side to find the cause

I didn't do much, refilled various machines (mason jar, recycling etc.) and let out/pet barn and coop animals. Since I had got my first pumpkin this run I ran it over to complete the fall season alter

Then I must have hit the number needed (don't remember what that was) to get the stamina fruit, the goddess pops up talks and my character automatically ate the fruit. I can dash and hit the menu (3 lines on xbox controller) but that's it

can't change direction or any other buttons

I didn't wait out the day but I can try that

I see, and just to confirm, you experienced the same thing after eating the stamina fruit you got from the museum? If so, could you also let us know what you were doing before donating the items.

And could you also let us know the in-game date when those issues occurred?

I don't remember for the museum one, but it was Autumn. For the goddess/alter one it was Autumn 14. Sorry I don't remember what I did for the museum one. The bug happened so I closed out and came back in and played a whole day (farm stuff and diving) and then ate the stamina fruit to the left of the bed. I was able to use the right click on my mouse to interact with the bed and go to sleep

Wasn't able to interact with the bed through the controller though if that's helpful

Thanks for providing us with some additional information! Could you let us know what your current in-game date is? And would you mind sharing your Save File and Backup Files here so we can take a closer look? To retrieve the files, you can copy-paste the following file path into your Windows Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames then compress the SaveGames folder into a ZIP file before sending it here.

It's still Autumn 14, is there anything else I should search for? I tried to use that search earlier to add it but wasn't able to find anything. I do keep all my steam games on an external hard drive

Ohhh I see! To find it through Steam, you can go to your Library > right click on Coral Island > Manage > Browse Local Files. Let us know if you're able to find the SaveGames folder that way, thanks so much for your help!

Could you please double-check that the option to view hidden items is enabled in Windows Explorer? You can do this by going to the View tab, go to Show menu, then click on Hidden Items. This should help ensure everything shows up correctly—thanks for taking a look!

Hi,
I've had a similar bug just now. I bought one of the Perk point elixirs via the computer but I didn't pick it up right away. Went down to the underwater farm and noticed I had mail which was the elixir. Didn't think much of it and went on to drink it but then I got a "Error couldn't play- " some animation / mini-cutscene for when the player powers-up from the elixir and now none of my input works since it hasn't re-enabled them due to the error.

So the only way to pause is to tab out and have the game auto-pause. Then I'd either wait to pass out or Alt-F4 and redo the day.

I just had this yesterday too by eating stamina fruit! I did find out if you dont alt f4 and stay still ur character passes out sicne teh time keeps moving

I think it's more related to the triggering and not triggering of animation / cutscene which leads to not re-enabling the proper inputs for the player.

For example in Unreal Engine which you use, it's not switching the Input mode from UI only mode over to Gameplay mode.

Could you let us know the elixir you purchased and all the activities you did on that day before the issue occurred? Any detail you can remember can help us further investigate the issue!

I'm having the same issue when you eat the Health Fruit on level 25 in the Cave of Memories. I've had to restart the game twice due to this issue. My character cannot move. They will still use their tool, but they remain in the same spot.

Hi NexusXXIII, are you playing on Steam as well by any chance? You mentioned having to start the game twice, did you get stuck both times after consuming the stamina fruit on the same level in the Cave of Memories? 😮

Hi, yes I play the game via Steam. The game freezes when I try to consume stamina fruit.
