Is there a way to get an old gamepass save back if I uninstalled the game?

I have now purchased the game on Steam and would like to transfer the save, but the instructions I've found to do so require both versions to be installed. Any advice?

there's no way to recover that game pass save if you've deleted it, but you couldn't transfer it anyway, they bug out real bad

but there are loads of NG+ saves here you can use if you want to start with some money
