Jim salmon quest impossible to complete

Hello,
I'm playing with a friend, and I'm am the GUEST player.

The Host got the quest where you need to give Jim a Salmon between 5pm and 8pm around the start of year 1, soon after starting the farm.
Me, the Guest, got the same quest in Spring of year 3.

And we both can't complete the quest. The option to give Jim the fish (finish quest) doesn't appear. It's always the Gift option
Also, the quest doesn't have a reward part in the quest menu. When pinned, the quest is empty.

By the way, on the quest menu screen you can see I (the Guest) have an empty completed quest. I have it since almost the beginning of the farm.

with the fish in your inventory (not trying to give it to him) and going to the spot at the required time doesn't activate the scene? also it's not a quest but a heart event

I confirm that going to the beach shack will trigger the cutscene and complete the quest

The issue for me now is that the place of the delivery is not displayed. For example, Noah's event quest "Bonfire" ask to give him 4 woods in the morning in garden lane.

I'm so glad to hear that you were able to finally trigger the cutscene and complete the quest! In regards to Noah's event, could you elaborate on what you meant by "not displayed"—was the information not available to see on Noah's relationship tab?

Noah 6 heats event is the quest "Bonfires". You need to bring 4 woods to Garden Lane between 10am - 1pm.
Jim 1 heart mail quest is "Night Fish". You need to give Jim a Salmon between 5pm and 8pm.

Noah's quest describes where to bring the item. It's good.
Jim's quest doesn't tell us where to bring the item. If you gift Jim a Salmon outside of the beach shack but during the 5pm and 8pm, it will be considered a normal, neutral gift.

I would like the quest memo to be changed from "Bring Jim a Salmon between 5pm to 8pm" to "Bring Jim a Salmon to the beach shack between 5pm and 8pm". Especially since Jim usually leaves the beach shack after 5pm...
