#extreme framedrops and sometimes gamecrash buying underwater crop seeds

Reproduction Steps: go to underwater store and hold right click to buy underwater crop seeds. when filming the video, I had to restart the game after a crash, then waited for the shop to open and bought the seeds, but there I just had the framedrops. The crash happened during days where I did other things first and after the game was already running for a few hours.

Repro Rate: every time I buy underwater crop seeds.
Game Platform: Steam (PC)
Game Version: v1.2b-1244
Input Mode: keyboard and mouse

I can confirm this also for Sam's store. Interestingly enough, online shopping works much better. I hope you guys could streamline both stores. This also happens while buying bulk in the lab

yes, the framedrop starts around 250 items in the stack

my game just froze buying hay from the animal shop. I don't think it's supposed to allocate 33 GB of RAM when the whole game is only 15 GB

In the above picture i bought one full stack with 999 and then another stack where it froze at 300 with the big RAM usage of 33 GB

just now the game froze again whilst i was buying hay. bought one full stack of 999, second stack at around 700 it froze the game, but this time it allocated even more RAM, almost 55 GB

after restart, i was able to buy four full stacks of 999 hay without problems, so the games runtime must be one of the factors. The game was running for around 6 hours

It happens when i "buy mulitple" and i hold down the button for longer than acouple of secs and sure let me finish this day and get to when it opens the next day
