#Crash when loading Save File

Reproduction Steps: game crashes when loading save file
Repro Rate: 100% since a few days ago, but was able a few times to play right after last update.
Game Platform: Xbox PC Game Pass
Game Version: v1.2b-1244
Input mode: Keyboard and Mouse
PC specs: Lenovo Gaming Laptop
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS w/ Radeon 780M
GPU: AMD Radeon(TM) 780M
Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.19 GB usable)
64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

(unsure where to find crash log)

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the game twice, repair files through manage option, loading back up save file and nothing has worked.

when I tried to open the game earlier this week it just wouldn’t and display a pop up saying there was a crash, after uninstalling and reinstalling it I was able to open the game but after attempting the save file, it would crash. I tried to screen record but it didn’t work so I took a video of my laptop screen after trying to load the save file just now. It just stays on the loading screen and then the game crashes.

The game didn’t crash when I tried to start a new save and was able to load the avatar maker but my original save was year 5 and I want to keep playing that bc I made so much progress. I never downloaded any mods or anything.

I fixed it and am able to play again. What worked for me is updating windows, BIOS and restarting my whole PC.
