Yes we’ve tried resetting the router, testing network connection, and even reset the modem itself. All other online games we play work fine. As for what we were doing in game before hand. I don’t exactly have much detail to give, we are late spring in our second year. We’ve just been fishing and upgrading farm tech at the lab. Other than that I’m not sure.

Do you remember when this issue first started happening — like the real-time date/month, or which game version you were on when it began?

It happened about 2 days ago now, the new update was in effect and it was actually improving our multiplayer for a time. We got off for the night and when we tried to play the next day, it started this error message.

Got it, thanks for the update! Just to confirm—you’re both on the same internet connection, yeah? If you switch to a different connection, does the error still happen?

Not sure, we only have the one WiFi connection so we don’t have an option to switch to another, or use two different WiFi connections at the same time.
As I said before, all other multiplayer games and streaming apps work perfectly fine, nor have we had this issue until after the latest update dropped.

So are me and my wife SOL ? Neither can connect to the server to even access the file we have been playing together. Does this mean we simply can’t play together anymore? And lose all our progress?

Hello! It doesn’t have to be a different Wi-Fi connection—one of you can switch to a mobile hotspot and see if you’re able to connect 😮
Also, are you playing on an Xbox console, or Xbox via PC?

Hate to revive this, same issue, tried a hotspot, restarted router reinstalled game, hard restart to Xbox and no dice, any solution yet?

Hello, my game crashed around 7pm est and now all I get is “network error has occurred.”

My game has crashed four times in 30 minutes. Using the PS5. As soon as it crashes it gives me an error message asks me if I want to submit a report and include screenshots (which I did.) There is no set task that is causing it to crash for me. It happens regardless of the task/quest. This has not happened before today.
