Wanting to upgrade at the lab to get high quality items for the local produce quest. I’m just confused at the upgrade screen on if I need to upgrade to bronze seeds or seedlings for vegetables.

the option if i recall is:
crops -- well.. crops. fruit, vegetables, flowers, etc
fruit seedlings -- fruit tree that last 2 season, and produce fruit on it's season
fruit saplings -- Fruit tree that lives forever, goes dormant out of seasons, produce fruit on it's season

Seedlings are fruit plants. They're a 2x2 plant that requires tilled soil and live for a couple of seasons
