Co-op game crashes when I break auto chest inside shed

I’m on PS5 playing with one other player.

Anytime I place an auto-chest for example, and the chest doesn’t connect to the rest of the row (it should, but it just doesn’t) I go break it with an axe or pick and it’s crashed the game consistently 6 times now and I just can’t play.

I took all the items out the row before breaking anything to be safe, but even without that it crashes. I’m beside myself at the moment because I can’t keep production going, and I’m ruining the game for my partner who is trying to do their own thing.

I’ve tested this with my co-op partner doing absolutely nothing so I can confirm it is the actions I’m taking. I’ve tried messing with other auto chests in different sheds with the same result. I have two sheds.

Hello @faint vector thank you for the report! May I ask how many players are in your session, and did all of you using PS5 when playing?

If you get a chance to open the game again, could you please record a short video showing when the issue happens? It’ll really help us understand the situation better!

Yes, thank you both PS5 and just the two of us. We went on vacation I won’t be back for awhile but when I can get a video I will.
