they sounds metallic and high pitch. This effect gets amplified by speed plus gathering sounds that are now also kinda metallic ding sounds as well. Overall super busy and overwhelming sounds. Pls rollback the changes or add options to disable or tone down because I used to love them and now this is starting to make me want to quit because I use my scythe so much on a regular basis. My scythe is golden and has speed boosts

the sounds also apply when crops are gathered in the inventory. you can see in the video constant high pitch sounds. it is giving me a headache

#

even the sound that you guys changed to load the save file are high pitch metallic like that. The magic of coral is that it is a relaxing game and now this has changed with all the sounds like this. Pls fix this ASAP

#

I was able to pin down the sounds better here

#

the rapid pings are super loud and busy compared to what the game was before that. these sounds are literally giviging me a headache now.

#

I think it is the crops as they are gathered in the inventory

#

and also the scythe noises

i’m also struggling with this since the update.. the sounds for a lot of activities are just way too loud and distracting now. i used to love the sound of the scythe in the ocean, and now it just feels off-putting. the mining sound for ores is even worse, it makes me jump every time 🙈 fishing is also not great anymore. the only sounds that are still satisfying are the axe, bug net, hoe, and watering can. i’d love to be able to choose the old sounds in settings, if the new ones aren’t bothering many other people 🫶🏻

Hello again @bronze knoll and @bleak scroll ! Could you try changing your Audio Mode to Original in the settings?
After switching it, please let me know if you can still hear the current SFX or not. Thank you so much!

okay, just tested in the mine, and the sounds are definitely better on Original. hitting ores still sounds a bit high pitched sometimes, but it isn’t happening every time, and isn’t as obvious on Original. i’ve listened to a few other general sound effects when switching between the two sound quality settings, and it almost seems like the weird sounds are echoes of some sort? not sure if that helps! i’ll try to get some videos if that would help you guys?

here are some videos. the only thing i didn’t hear much of a difference on was the crops with the scythe, but i don’t usually harvest that way (didn’t know it was an option til today lol), and the main thing i’d noticed was the diving SFX. i did notice a difference when harvesting from my Mason Jars though. i’m pretty early game (started a new save), so i don’t have much on my farm to use for examples, sorry! 🙈

Hiyaa! I’m also part of the team, and thank you so much for sharing these videos with us. From what I’m hearing, the SFX for taking items out of artisan machines and harvesting crops does sound pretty similar between the original and improved versions. I’ll pass this along to the team! 😉

For the rest of the sounds, the differences between the original and improved SFX are definitely clearer!

I am throwing my hat in the ring to say I have the same issue, it's genuinely unpleasant when inputting/collecting artisan products in bulk
