Reproduction Steps: Wake up, go outside and wait for pets to join me every day. They just stay stuck in the same spot together all day until they go back inside.

Same situation in my case, they rarely move somewhere else. They either stay like in the picture on top of each other or next to each other on the same spot. Either the whole day or most of the day. I am using Xbox on PC.

Mine are doing the same thing. It doesn't matter the time of day, events, or weather. I can interact with them. If I go inside and come back out they are still there. My dog just circling my fox. I even fast traveled and went diving, came back and they're still there. I wonder if it'll have an effect on the gifts they're supposed to be able to bring?

So, I was having this same issue and at some point my two cats began to interact with each other. Following that, they were able to get unstuck. My fox, however, remained stuck in place. I don't know if I should try replicating it with a video!

I guess when I tried to replicate they refused to fight until after 😡 but then I thought of not petting them first thing. Eventually they sought me out for love and got themselves out! For more info I'm playing on the steam deck

Same here. Same spot and everything everything. I didn't think about it affecting the pet race.. I WAS VERY WRONG😭. Avoid doing it if it's coming up in your game yall. Your pet will get stuck. I'm on ps5 and I took a video of it but idk how to upload to discord.

I'm on PS5 and since the new update my pets are now getting stuck and not moving around the farm like they used to! Always stuck at this same area!

Hello, I am also having this issue. I wanted to add in, I've noticed that if I sleep overnight underwater, and then go back to my usual farm and my pets try to get me to pet them, they will move around the farm and follow me. So it seems like they can move around until you pet them, then they become stuck in this spot. But either way, it's a bummer. I can't gain a good friendship with either of my pets because if I don't pet them, they'll be unhappy, but if I do pet them, they will be stuck in that spot and become unhappy. I can't seem to keep hearts with them 🙁

Bump! Having this same issue on PS5! If I place an object down before they get there, my pets will clip through it until it eventually pops up ready to be collected in my inventory.

I’m still having this issue! My pets are stuck outside by my porch and won’t move and get angry. I can’t get my hearts to go up at all because I pet them constantly but they just stand there.. barking and throwing “….” Or angry emotes 😩😩

Adding to this, my barn/coop animals get stuck by my bug house.. I’ve tried removing it and replacing it but no avail. They get upset because they’re stuck outside the barn or coop all night and get cold.
