I commented in another thread that my game has been freezing. As of today, it is now crashing directly to desktop with no warning at the end of the day. I turned on background recording, it just shows a sudden end to the recording. I can review it, but when I try to clip and export, I get this error: Unable to retrieve clip information (32).
Following this link (https://steamcommunity.com/groups/SteamClientBeta/discussions/5/4630358592048904420/), I go to the game recordings/timelines folder, and it's empty.
I've launched the same save file twice in a row, and both times, it crashed before end of day.
Reproduction Steps:
First crash: game was paused. I returned to the room and the game was closed and Desktop was open.
Second crash: Reload of the same day/save. I was in the forest mine, then returned to my farm to dump inventory. The recording shows me on the map view selecting the underwater farm from the farm warp point right before the crash.
Repro Rate:
The freeze issue had been happening every other in-game day. The new hard crash has happened twice in a row on the same in-game day.

Players & Platform: Single player, PC.
Game Version: Game version v 1.2 - 1243
Input Mode: Keyboard.
