Softlocked while diving and bug catching

I was diving and had a full inventory. I catched a lobster, which was my first.
I stand above the lobster lying on the floor.
I opened the inventory to throw away a stone. Clicked on the stone to throw it in the trash.
But now, everytime I press any button that triggers an event, the popup of the Lobster shows up.
I cannot throw away the stone, cannot put the stone back into the inventory, cannot close the inventory.

This is the first time I had this issue. It does not happen if you have caught the critter before.
Plattform is PC
Version v1.2-1243
Playing with keyboard and mouse.
Save file added as attachement.

Annoying part is, you can't wait for the day to end because time doesn't pass in the inventory menu.
So only way out is to close the game and do the day again. (But at least, the spawning critters were the same)

Post can get deleted, it was already reported 30 days ago. But maybe good to bring it back up in mind

Hi @stable epoch , thank you for reaching out to us! I'm sorry to hear about the issue you've encountered. 🙇‍♀️ We have received similar reports regarding this soft-lock problem, and the team is currently investigating it.

As a temporary workaround, it might help to wait until the catch popup fully appears before opening your inventory. As opening it too soon after catching an insect/critter could cause the issue.
