Can’t get up the stairs underwater

Hi everybody 👋🏻 I’m playing the game for a while now and today I have this new bug for whatever reason. When I try to leave the general shop underwater to go back up to the teleport stone thingy, I get stuck at the last staircase.. I also had the same issue in the woods/forrest. I also don’t have an “I’m stuck” or “unstuck” in the menu so I’m lost right now 😅 and I really don’t want to force quit my game or anything similar lol

Input mode is keyboard and mouse

Edit: I just wiggled around a lot and I finally was able to move forward.. but that same bug happened before…I’m not going down there again for now 😅

Heyo! Just a s heads up the “I’m stuck” button was removed due to it causing issues. Also are you by chance using any mods? What was you doing (aside from just being in the shop) we’re you doing?

I’m not using any mods and I was just going to the shop to see what crop I unlocked.. it’s winter right now and I just harvested some crops before I went to the shop 🤷🏻‍♀️

I also have that problem in the woods at the bridge for whatever reason 🤷🏻‍♀️ and I just unlocked that area and already walked that way but now I can’t even get up there anymore

Aaaaaand I just discovered that I also can’t get up another path/stairs… it’s almost each one of them 😭

Also, could you list out all the stairs you're currently having an issue with and attach additional video showing the issue?

Of course! I was harvesting my underwater crops and wanted to see what i already unlocked in the shop (selling 50 pcs each crop to unlock the seeds in the shop). after i was done looking through said shop, i wanted to go back to the teleport stone thingy but got stuck like you can see in the video. same with going to the woods (where the orangutan is sitting on the throne).. i unlocked it a couple of in-game days before and already went there and looked at everything (walking over the bridge that unlocks) and had no problems, then when i wanted to go over there again i wasn't able to get up the stairs (the second video i provided) and i had to walk around it/ use a different path..(i was just walking around to find a special flower) while using that said different path i got stuck on another stair path.. i just realized while typing all of this it's always when i try to walk ''Up'' the stairs, going down is never a problem. i'm about to play again and walk around everywhere and am gonna make more videos for y'all to see.

Also (totally different topic) i realized that the german language translation has some mistakes in it.. like for example i'm dating Rafael right now and instead of saying that he's my date it's translated to the date date- like in ''What date is it''.. it should have been ''fester Freund'' or ''Partner'' instead of ''Datum''. 😅

Thanks for sharing some additional information! Could you let us know if the issue has happened again since it happened? Could you check if it still persists if you verify your file integrity? Here's how to do it:

• Open Steam → Go to Library
• Right-click Coral Island → Select Properties
• Go to Installed Files → Click Verify Integrity of Game Files
• Restart Steam and try launching the game

In regards to the translation issue, could you send a screenshot of the text you were referring to? This will assist us in our investigation!

I just verified the file integrity and im going to start it now and see what happens.

Omg it’s working.. I can walk down the stairs to the bridge 😱 aaaand the stairs underwater work as well 🙌🎉

In regards to Rafael's issue, could you confirm if he is your Boyfriend now? And would you mind sharing your Save File here? To retrieve the files, you can copy-paste the following file path into your Windows Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames then send the DailySave_[number].sav file here, thanks in advance 😉

Yes he is, i also saw that in the list with all the other characters he's listed as ''Liebster'' which would be right, but when i get more ''hearts'' with him and i have a new day starting and it pops up its still wrong (like in the picture i provided).

I also have three of the DailySave files.. i guess you would want/need the last one.

Thanks for sending the file! After looking into it, it seems that the file you shared is a Multiplayer Save File, could you confirm if the issue happens in Multiplayer mode of the game?
