Hey no matter what I try I cannot interact with my friend, we both play on ps5

Hi @kind sierra. Thanks for the report! Could you clarify what you mean by “interact with your friend”? Do you mean the talk interaction, like when you interact with an NPC? 😮

Yes exactly

I can drop stuff but it doesn’t trigger anything when he picks it up

I don’t understand why I can’t interact with him at all

Ahh, got it! In that case, this is actually the current intended design. For now, you won’t be able to interact with other players the same way you do with NPCs. But no worries, we’ve received a lot of feedback about this, and we’ve passed it all along to the team for future consideration!

As for dropping items, yes you can only drop them from your inventory and have your friend pick them up so it goes into theirs. For now, that’s the only interaction available between players 🙂

So I don’t have to build hearts to marry and have kids?

Oh and aside from that, the only other player-to-player interaction available right now is proposing to another player!

Nope! But you still need to sleep on the same bed to trigger the popup for having kids! 😄
