#Received Town Rank Increase letter without ranking up.

While playing on Summer, Thurs 4, Year 1, I noticed mid-day that I had a new letter in the mail from Millie congratulating me on Ranking up to town Rank E. I had already checked my mail that morning and that letter was not in there.

I hadn't ranked up as far as I was aware. I checked the Town Rank Tab, and after a few seconds, it updated showing rank E. I was under the impression that rankups happened during the EoD summary, and that mail should arrive the following morning, not mid-day.

The letters can happen as soon as you rank up, but the summary updates End of Day.

Hello again @fallen gate There’s a possibility that this might be a bug, and we’d like to take a closer look into it.

Could you please share your save file and backup with us so our team can investigate further?
If possible, please also describe what you did on that specific day before the rank-up happened — for example, any offerings, donations, or activities that might have contributed to your Town Rank progress.

If you happen to have a video of when this occurred, that would be super helpful too.

Here are two videos, the first at the start of the day showing the mail I got, then a second video showing when I turned in a goldfish, which pushed me to rank F, and triggered the mail despite me not knowing I was at rank F.

If this ISN'T a bug, then as feedback I'd like to offer that it's a very confusing experience, as you're suddenly being congratulated on something you're not aware has happened that then will later be shown to you in a nice big animation at the EoD. Kinda ruins the surprise. and having mail arrive after you've already checked it is equally confusing.
