Can other players see the important storyline cutscenes in multiplayer?

I just started a new world with my cousin, introducing her to the game. I'm hosting the save, but i noticed that she isn't seeing the important cut scenes like Scott's museum story, or the opening of Pufferfish.

Is this normal? I would think its super important that everyone is able to see those scenes.

Story cutscenes are shared, so you both should see them. If not make sure to report it #1405384975137898524 and if you’re able to get a video from both of you at the time of playing it would help
