#Can't update coop
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
I moved it further away from the side walls using the architect's desk, just in case that was the problem. I didn't think it would be, given that all the coops have the same size, but I tried.
Hello @modern fractal thanks for reaching out to us! Could you let us know which platform you're playing from (Steam PC/Deck, Xbox PC/S/X, PlayStation 5) and your current game version?
Sure! (And sorry about the delay. I was watching the chat box and it didn't update for some reason.)
I'm on Linux, via Steam and Proton.
The screen says: Build version (v) 1.2-1243
I assume it's the latest version, otherwise Steam would have updated it.
Steam also says
Installed content updated: Nov 2, 2025 at 21.55
And you went to the carpenters?
Thank you for update! if possible, can you share your save file and backup so the team can check it? To retrieve the files, you can copy-paste the following file path into your Windows Explorer: **%localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames **then compress the SaveGames folder into a ZIP file before sending it here.
Got it. There you are.
(Also, like I said, I'm on Linux, so I don't have a Windows Explorer. But I got it working anyway. 🙂 )
Hello again @modern fractal We’ve checked your save file — in the previous screenshot, your coop was still in the middle of an upgrade
When we checked your latest save, the coop has already been upgraded to level 2.
Could you please try verifying your game files through Steam to see if the issue is resolved? please follow the steps below to do it:
- Open Steam → Go to Library
- Right-click Coral Island → Select Properties
- Go to Installed Files → Click Verify Integrity of Game Files
- Restart Steam and try launching the game
Let us know how it goes
I have two barns. One is at level 2, the other is at level 1. I remember wanting to update the coop several times and thinking I was missing something. There are only four food slots in the coop. If it were at level 2, shouldn't there be 8? Let me get back in the game and double-check.
I'll also follow your instructions, of course.
I just went back into the game and the coop is absolutely at level 2. I don't remember paying for that upgrade, but maybe I forgot. My bad. I apologize for the confusion.
And now I know what the arrow means.
I'll be able to get ducks and offer their eggs to the goddess of the Lake Temple. (She has way too much power over where I'm allowed to go. 🙂 )
