#Issues with Osmium Level Crops and Essences

Summary: These are pervasive issues effecting a number of Quests, Crop Upgrades, and the like. Examples:
A) Upgrades of crops purchased in Lab Never Happen
Reproduction Steps:

  1. Purchase upgrade for Seeds in Lab. 2) Wait the 2 days for Upgrade to complete. 3) Check stored seed to see they still show as Gold level.
    B) Starlight Expedition Quest Not Progressing
    Reproduction Steps:
  2. Pickup a required item for quest, in this case Essences. 2) The tally for the needed items doesn't change.
    ---- 2 Examples detailed, but there are more.

Can you share a screenshot of your seed upgrade progress from the lab?
And for the Starlet Expedition, have you tried giving the quest item to Cho Oyu yet?

Also, if possible, can you share your save file and backup so the team can check it? To retrieve the files, you can copy-paste the following file path into your Windows Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames then compress the SaveGames folder into a ZIP file before sending it here.

After the 2 days, seeds are finally showing as upgraded, and the number of Osmium crops harvested has jumped significantly. I should finally be able to collect enough things to progress in all these quests that I've been stuck in!

We’re really glad to hear that the seed upgrade issue is now resolved! 🌱

From your video, it looks like in the Starlet Expedition quest you haven’t clicked on the item that needs to be given to Cho Oyu yet. You’ll need to click that item first — after that, the “Give Quest Item” prompt should appear, just like in the example image we shared.

As for the Sam’s Shop quest, could you confirm if you’re still unable to progress with it?

In both quests, Sam's shop and the Starlight Expedition, I am again making progress. As I'm finally getting a fair number of Osmium crops harvested, that shouldn't take too long. In fact, I bought a mess of fast growing crops for planting in the Greenhouse, so even if I get to the end of Fall, I should get enough. I'm trying to get the Starlight Quest done 1st. She's taken her kelp essences, so it is just the crops for that.
