• Title: Duplicated Tools
• Reproduction Steps: On the 7th day of Winter of the Second Year, I was at the underwater farm and realized I had forgotten my hoe at the main farm. I needed it, so I used the option to retrieve forgotten tools by right-clicking on the bed of underwater farm. I used the hoe and left it in my inventory. On the 8th day of Winter, still with the hoe in my inventory, I took the opportunity to upgrade it to osmium quality. When I looked at one of my chests at my main farm, the golden hoe was there (the same one I had left to upgrade). Now I have one hoe being upgraded at the blacksmith and one hoe at my farm.

Can you please share all of your backup save files with us? We’d like to check if we can replicate the issue. They’re located in the same file path as your main save file, inside the Backup folder.

Here it is! Just one thing: I asked for help and turned backups on, so I went back to that day and redid it to avoid having a duplicate hoe. Looking at the backup list, I think the one you can use is 'SaveBackup_0_7' since it’s dated last night. I swapped the save and basically 'went back in time' this morning.

Can you tell me if that worked? If it did, could you share which step you skipped to prevent the duplicated tools from happening?

Yeah, it worked!!! Thank God we have such amazing ppl here like @strange moon to help us!!! ❤️

What I did was not try to grab the forgotten tool right-clicking at bed, I just went to the main farm to get the hoe and used it on the underwater farm instead.

To help us figure out what’s going on, could you share what you were doing right before your watering can duplicated? Also, did you happen to use the “Find My Tools” option from the underwater farm around that time? Any details you remember are super helpful

And to answer your question: unfortunately, there isn’t currently a way to delete duplicated tools in the game. The best workaround for now is to place the extra tools in a chest. We really appreciate your understanding, and we’re here if you need anything else!

I'll send all I can ASAP. The problem is that the one who plays is my gf and she kept playing so I think the backup files are after the bug too

I also discovered that placing a tool in a chest unlocks the "find my tools" option at bedtime and ended up with an extra watering can haha. I thought I had actually lost something 💀 oopsies lol

here is all her save files. Probably with backups have the bug too cuz she had at least 6 watering cans and she played even more ( IS OBSESSED WITH THE GAME). Tomorrow if I can ill try to upgrade other tool to see what happends

Hey!!! I’ll try to reproduce the bug again. It happened a while ago and I kept playing, so I don’t have the duplicated tools anymore.

I’m going to load the same save file I shared earlier this month and try to redo everything while recording. If I manage to trigger the bug again, I’ll send the video and screenshots here. ❤️

Im going to try to replicate, but how exactly works the backups saves? its in order like the 0 is from last day?

and r the files in other place if I have the steam cloud on?

To determine the latest backup file, you can filter it by date! And if you'd like to retrieve it using steam cloud, you can access it by following these steps:

• Go to your Steam Cloud storage: https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage
• Search for Coral Island and click Show Files
• Scroll through the files until you spot the one with the date you need
