#cant interact with anything

After a date with Waku at the tavern could not interact with anything like enter doors or my own farm/chests

I waited till i passed out at 2am and restarted the game.

I will add that the menu worked and would open and i could use the menu fine like craft things / look at quests ect but couldn't open up doors or chest or collect items that were completed from crafting

Hello @native lantern. So sorry you ran into the stuck issue, that must’ve been really frustrating!
Could you let us know if this happened before or after today’s update (v1.2-1243)? 😮

this was 10 minutes ago after the most recent update 🙂 thank you. It's fixed after a restart now but wanted to report it as i couldn't find anything in the bug search.

Ah, thanks for confirming that this happened after the latest update, and for letting us know that restarting the game fixed it. Still, we’d love to gather a bit more detail so we can prevent it from happening again in the future approve2

Do you remember which hangout option you chose at the tavern and the in-game date when it happened? Also, did you skip the hangout scene, and did the game get stuck right after that? 🙂

For some more exact details apologies. It was my partner playing on the steam deck so ill be re-iterating

"Waku was entering the Tavern as I exited the tavern. I then asked Waku to hang out Stargazing at the observatory. It then did not take me to the observitory and at that point the game stopped letting me interact with anything other than walk around or open my menu "

This is just a wild guess "I'm a developer but not a game developer so i know nothing"

sounds like a weird state was entered due to player character leaving door and Waku character entering door at the time of asking out for a hang out session
