#Ocean Items DISAPPEARING

I am currently in a multiplayer game with @languid stratus as the host. over the last couple of sessions, underwater items just disappear when I pick them up. At first, it was only ocean scavengeables. Whether I had the inventory space or not, items would straight up not appear in my inventory.
This also applies to underwater animals- I milked my Mermoo, with only a few items in my inventory, and it just never appeared anywhere. I cannot complete the underwater offerings like this.
Additionally, the game seems to think four of my slots are filled, and they most certainly are not (see screenshot attached). This compounds with the item collecting bug to make the underwater section near unplayable. I can't collect items to make crops, which makes the ocean section unable to be completed.
This has happened on at least three separate occasions that I 've noticed.

**Reproduction Steps: **
Described above! Only occurred for the affected joining user (Runny) at the moment.
For the items missing, it seems to occur after at least a day has passed, then the following days the issue will occur when the inventory is filled (but with 4 apparent empty slots not being filled in)
For the animal items, it seems to have started recently, no matter if the inventory is full or not.

3 players: Me (Host) and 2 joining players (Runny is the one affected by the issue)

Joining Users (2): Controller (Keyboard and Mouse was also tempted for Runny who couldn't pick up items)

Update: after reloading the game entirely, the missing slots in my inventory were revealed to be.... the animal products I gave to Cho Oyu two in-game days ago?
There may be an issue with giving items to Cho Oyu for a Produce Upgrade, as I've noticed before in this playthrough that the last Seaweed upgrade I made ended up refunding the animal produce back to me after reloading the game.

Hi everyone @languid stratus @nocturne fog ! Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention, could you let us know the in-game date when you turned in the required quest items to Cho Oyu and the name of the quest you were referring to?

This was to upgrade my Underwater Animal Produce Quality through her shop, not through any sort of quest. This also has happened from recollection when I've upgraded Underwater Crop Quality through her shop as well.

Joining in on the bug (without any visual attachments tho). Happened to me and my gf, a lot of inventory was invisible (item was there, putting item in its place reveals it). And after this bug putting items in chest seems to be bugged as well and require relogging to the server

). It happened more than once but started around the time we decided to upgrade underwater produce.
Only happened for a person that is not hosting, however that person was the one that initiated all underwater upgrades and took care of underwater farm (collecting crops/animal produce)

@foggy anchor I have similar bug. I think it began after I gave animal crops for the first underwater lab animal crops upgrade. Initially I gave some plant crops for the first plant crops upgrade. Then I came 2 days later with animal crops and wanted to give them for the first animal crops upgrade but I couldn't. The "research" inentory for the animal crops upgrade had already some items inside - those items were the same I gave for the plant crops upgrade 2 days prior. I wanted to replace those items with animal crops but I couldn't. But I could initiate the "research" with those plant crops inside the research inventory. Next animal crops upgrades were normal (i.e. the research inventory was empty and it accepted my animal crops donations). Every few days whenever I get animal crops from the gathering machine put inside underwater barns one of the items becomes invisible and it does not go to the chest when I press Z on my keyboard. The next day I wake up and this item is visible in my inventory.
