#Crash steam

Hi again @wind flint , could you let us know which platform the Host and Guest are playing from (Steam PC/Deck, Xbox PC/S/X, PlayStation 5) and your current version of the game? Also, could you clarify if the crash happens to the Host or the Guest?
On Steam PC, the latest update, in the guest
Could you provide more details on what the Host and Guest were doing before the crash occurred? Any detail you remember can help us further investigate the issue!
Furthermore, can you ask the guest if they received any Crash Log? They can check by copy-pasting this file path into their Windows Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\Crashes then sort the files by Date Modified to find the most recent one. Afterwards, send over the file ending in .xml.
I don't remember what we were doing, but I ask him for the document
Just anything that comes to mind can really help us! And there's no rush. You can send the crash log at your convenience 😉
I am attaching the error documents
Thanks for sending in your crash logs! Could you also share the specifications of your device, including details such as the CPU, GPU, RAM, and HDD/SSD? You can check how to do it here: https://techguided.com/how-to-check-your-computer-specs/
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
RAM: 32,0 GB
SSD
Thanks for sending in your device specifications! Before your next gameplay, could you please check if your laptop is overheating before shutting down, and also try updating your GPU driver? Using a cooling pad and keeping the charger plugged in might also help.
Let us know if another crash still happens afterwards
It is a desktop computer, does not overheat, and has updated drivers
Have you tried verifying your game files to see if it helps resolve the issue? To do so, please follow the steps below:
- Open Steam → Go to Library
- Right-click Coral Island → Select Properties
- Go to Installed Files → Click Verify Integrity of Game Files
- Restart Steam and try launching the game
Yes, and reinstall
Steam, new PC, single player - game crashes often when moving character, cut scenes or moving in and out of buildings. Happening for the last three weeks. Version 1.2-1243. I have tried the veirfy integrity and will see if that helps.
I don't think it's a problem with the PC, but rather with the game. I wasn't doing anything, and it crashed, forcing her to restart the computer, which doesn't happen with games that are much more demanding than Coral Island
Could you try forcing the game to use DirectX 11? Other players have noted that this has helped them improve stability:
- In Steam, right-click Coral Island → Properties.
- Under General, find Launch Options and type: -dx11
- Close the window, restart Steam, and launch the game.
Hopefully these steps help stop the crashes—thank you for giving them a try!
I'm so sorry to hear that you're experiencing similar issues! Could you please send your Crash Log here so we can take a closer look? my crash log
I did the game verification through steam, so far no crash.
Could you provide more details on what you were doing in the game before the crash happened? Any detail you remember can help us determine the cause!
Update, was processing geos and coffers, then bug hunting and my computer crashed. 😫 That was a first. The issues seem to be random. I'm not doing anything but farming and collecting things.

Let us know if it helps resolve the issue for you!
I've done that, id didn't stop the crash of game. I may uninstall it and start over.
I see, have you tried updating your GPU driver?
Okay so, It was my computer! The RAM had apparently corrupted for some reason. Crap product or fluke, I don't know. So it's fixed and no issue to date. Thanks for the feed back and help.
