#PC steam game crashes every other in gameday

disrespectful of player time when each day takes 20-40 minutes and i cant save without ending the day having all progress in the day wiped arbitrarily to redo and maybe have different crops, fish, etc ridiculous used to love this game but now it infuriates me with how it just wastes hours of progress.

Mines doing the same, towards the end of the day it crashes, once i got an report box yesterday and then again today it crashed and i had to reset my whole pc 🥲 playiny single player on pc steam 🥲

I see, have you tried verifying your file integrity to see if it resolves the issue? To do it, you can follow the steps below:

  • Open Steam → Go to Library
  • Right-click Coral Island → Select Properties
  • Go to Installed Files → Click Verify Integrity of Game Files
  • Restart Steam and try launching the game

Also, could you also share your save file so we can check it further?

You can copy and paste this path into your File Explorer:
%localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved

Then, compress the SaveGames folder into a ZIP file and send it here.

Regarding the manual save feature, we understand how important this feature is. Our development team is actively working on implementing it, with plans to include it in the upcoming 1.3 update. awesome that you guys are working on a manual save button i understand it would sort of undermine the integrity of the game and players may exploit it but having my progress wiped over and over has swayed me to think thats an acceptable trade off.

and i do truly love this game so thank you for responding and tryng to trouble shoot this. i'll try verifying steam files now and see if that helps any.

validating the steam files may have helped me previously it had crashed after any day when i had accomplished alot, so like if i had gone multiple levels in the cave and donated alot to the museum or cleared a lot of trash in the reef (i started a new save as my previous playthroughs were pre 1.0 version) but now when i accomplish alot its been ok the only other thing ive done is now i skip the summary screen at end of day
