We are currently at town rank C but each time we've ranked up, I get the hearts from the townfolk but my husband (guest) gets no hearts. He is still at zero hearts with everyone despite always being in game whenever I am in game and always being present when the town ranks are triggered.

Do you happen to have any video or screenshot when the Town Rank is up in the end-of-day screen and showing the issue?
If you play again, could you share the relationship tab from your and your husband's side? Thank you!

I dont have any video as the recap happens so quickly and we never have the forethought to record it, sorry!
Will take a photo of our relationship tabs when we play next.
I do have an update though... despite my husband's relationships showing as zero hearts, he still seems to be triggering heart events. So this tells me he is actually getting the hearts when the town ranks up, but they just aren't showing up in the relationship tab.
