So, my friend had this issue few weeks ago where her mate couldnt join her after reaching 3 year spring. Now it's my turn. We played until year 3 but we were able to get to mid-summer. Now everytime i try to join her i get the infinite loading screen i've attached to this post. We got it earlier today and we managed to play again on our save by bringing a back-up file. We took the 2nd most recent one because the most recent back-up had the same issue. We played perfectly the whole afternoon and now when we try to play on it we (again) cannot. We tried to host the game on both sides. We also tried 2 different back-up on each sides. We have this everytime.

Oh and i forgot, once i know i'm bugged and cannot join (waiting more than a minute to be sure) i ask my friend to go to sleep to see if i spawn or something, it made my game crash and i sent a report.

Hey, i will provide this soon but i want to let you know first that we are able to play together on the "bugged" save file right now. I joined a new save file that my friend created and then we did go back to the bugged one and it worked. I'll send the backup folder soon

Just to confirm — you’re able to play together again now, right?
Also, since you mentioned earlier that you experienced a crash, was it just that one time (when the other player went to sleep and you joined, then the game crashed)?

If that’s the case, you don’t need to make a report in the crash channel 😊 But if you still have the crash log file from that day, could you please share it here instead for our data?

You can find it by copying and pasting this path into your File Explorer:

It happens randomly, we have been able to play again a few times but it's pretty rare, it worked once after the last update (and stopped working the next evening) and worked few times before but something like 4 times in total (we tried everyday). I dont remember the day of the crash so I'll reproduce it asap and send the crash log file when possible

Just to dig a little deeper — when the issue happens, does it always show the same situation (like an infinite loading screen when joining)? Or does the game show any prompt or error message instead?

I forgot to mention it! It shows a " check your internet" kind of message after a long time, but if we load a new save file we dont have any issue on the new one

Okay so little update seems needed : We tried to reproduce the crash earlier today and i wasnt able to crash my game like i used to do. So we kept trying and at some point we passed from summer 28th to Fall 1st and i was suddenly able to join. I recorded everything the video is uploading atm i'll send the Youtube link asap. We tried to leave and re-join to see if i was still bugged but it works pretty normally so i don't really know ( we tried after our afternoon session and tonight i was able to join without any issue) . About the crash i can still create a crash report from older days but i'm not 100% sure about the reason of my last crashes, it's something like 80% to me. Should i still make a crash report even if i'm not sure about the reason ?

If the crash isn’t happening anymore, you don’t need to make a new crash report. And if the joining issue hasn’t come back, we’ll go ahead and mark this report as closed.

It’s possible the latest game update helped fix the issues.

Well, maybe it wasnt clear : we cannot join each other anymore, it worked perfectly for like 24 hours and tonight we couldn't join anymore 🙁

Ahh, got it — so the crash isn’t happening anymore, but the issue where you can’t join your friend’s game came back, right? 😞

When it happened again, did you always get the same prompt message — “The connection was lost. Your network may be unstable or disconnected. Please try again.” — like in the latest video you shared?

I see. Could you let us know whether you're using a LAN cable or Wi-Fi? Have you tried resetting your router to see if it helps resolve the issue, Timmyyy?

We already tried but i wanted to try again before coming back here, nothing works. It seems more about the save than about internet, even if the message says so. We even tried to be on the same internet and nothing works. My friend already had this issue on a save with her roommate if it can help. Both saves are weird and cannot be played on normally.
